The New Life Center Foundation (NLCF) was established in 1987 to aid economically disadvantaged ethnic minority women in northern Thailand. Beyond assisting vulnerable tribal women, the organization serves survivors of human trafficking and sexual abuse.

The organization embraces community-based advocacy and grassroots empowerment, "empowering individuals and families at a community level, and engaging local communities and organizations through education and training to create a world without exploitation."

Services provided include therapeutic support through art therapy, music, baking, martial arts, and counseling; business skills and literacy training for tribal women; safe housing with medical care; education ranging from elementary through university; and vocational training leading to employment.
